THANK YOU, sweetie! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to comment, but I'm just back in town and pleased to no end to find this waiting for me here. You've covered all the things I like so much--intimacy and conflict in close quarters; dramatic moments, suggestive settings (I love the textures of the wall and window), a strong Remus, and Sirius the avid reader. (Plus a cup of tea in the background that I suspect was just for me. *smile*) The composition is just fabulous. Remus awkwardly close--but obviously hostile or angry--is amazing, as is Sirius, startled and interrupted and just starting to defend himself. This was just lovely! Thank you! Maggie

I'm so glad you like it! This may be the most challenging pic I've ever drawn, for I'm used to drawing, as I said before, sweet, tender moments for these two characters.
And drawing such a background was meant to be full of intensity, too. :)

This is absolutely wonderful!

I love Sirius' posture especially, so defensive, yet open, while Remus is all closed off. Very much how one would picture an argument between those two.

Yes, it's pretty are when I like drawing Remus rather than Sirius. And in this one, I do think he looks better than Sirius. :)
