Author's notes: Merry (late) Christmas, remuslives23!! Art for the gallery has contributed by noeon and mific with their full permission. This was my first time using Photoshop, so there are some flaws, but I'm mostly pleased with it. I hope you like it!!

You've done a fantastic job combining all the artwork created for Muse into one exhibition showing Remus' work. Julie is going to go absolutely nuts when she sees this! The "Betrayal" artwork is very powerful and could even represent Remus' car accident, and how he became frustrated with himself because he couldn't paint anymore.

You did an amazing job and you reminded me that I need to finish reading muse!

I'm a huge fan of abstract art (it's really the only thing I'm good at) because of the ambiguity of the meaning behind it. I totally can see your interpretation of it, especially because art was really the only thing Remus had going for him, and when the car accident happened, his art betrayed him by not giving him that outlet for his emotions, so he expressed it in the only way he could.

And that there was my very long and jumbled way of saying thanks ;)

OMG!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I love you! This is perfect! I love that you chose this scene - it was a surprise and I love it! The first pic with the hands and feet - they are gorgeously done (and you know I have such a thing for hands - and am rapidly developing a kink for bare feet as well) and noeon's art was so beautiful and slammed another kink of mine (hands touching faces... *shiver*). This was absolutely perfect for 'Obsession' - Remus drawing little parts of Sirius over and over again.

I adore mific's picture of reclining Sirius (it's my background for my laptop!) and I was so stunned when it was done that it was so similar to the image I had in my head for that scene. That scene (I hope) was just pure sex and lust and want and that art was the perfect choice!

The angry art - God, that is fantastic! I love the colours - the red is so vivid and I can feel the anger leaking out of it - and that the canvas looks as though it has been slashed in anger. This is amazing!

And he last pic - *sighs happily* It's so peaceful and calm after the anger and fury of the abstract art, and exactly what I was thinking of for those scenes. I adore the effect you've given it - the blurring makes it feel dreamy - and the feeling of such love it exudes. I can just see Remus taking the photograph and secretly painting from it, smiling when he looks at Sirius sleeping.

And you included the quote which is one of my favourite ever quotes and I'm sure I wrote this scene just so I could use it. I hoped when I wrote this scene that it showed the progression of their relationship in art, and this has really brought it to life for me. Thank you so very much, hon! This is such a wonderful gift and I'm so happy I could cry!

I do believe this is the best compliment I've ever gotten, EVER. I can't tell you how excited I am that you liked it.

And the hands and feet sketches are the only sketches I've ever done that I've been even remotely happy with. I don't do realistic art, I do abstract, so I'm insanely pleased that you like them <3 I was going to make an attempt an art study of Sirius' eyes for that bit, since you focused on them so much during the art classes and such, but I fail at drawing eyes, so yeah. Hands and feet :)

As far as abstract goes, that's my favorite thing to paint. And I even got to take a knife to this canvas, which is something I've been dying to do for years, but never really had the guts or the necessary emotions to do. Originally that was all I was going to do, but then after finishing that one at the beginning of November, I just had to make the entire gallery. And I'm so glad I did!

I've always heard that hands are really hard to sketch but these are gorgeous. I have such a hand and feet kink happening so I actually got up and danced when I saw them!

Absolutely fabulous! The abstract painting looks exactly like I'd envisioned it. And the Love painting... beautiful. The concept of this, with all the paintings is just amazing. It's the perfect thing to go along with one of my all-time favourite stories. Very clever!

This is a really cool collaboration! well done everyone who contributed! I love it all but your feet are amazing!(well not sure about your feet in RL I'm sure they're lovely but the drawings...GAH!) Betrayal is so raw! I know thats what I was expecting but i can't believe how close it is to what I was imagining when I read Muse.

Ok I just discovered Muse and just finished it and thus just ran across this-- but I have to say, this is really cool. And I'm especially impressed with Betrayal-- because I'm not kidding, that is exactly what I imagined when I read the description in the fic. To the point that for a moment I was seriously confused when I saw that picture here. I was like, "wtf? Representations never so perfectly match my imagination. Is this a painting that remuslives23 based the description on?"

But no. It turns out that the painting was just that perfectly done! O_O
