This has been a great idea in the lead up to the opening of the gifts! I started reading and rereading fics from the self-rec list yesterday and had a great afternoon immersed in the pups (which wasn't as dirty as it sounds). Hugs for the mods!

I did the same thing as remuslives23--I spent several hours last night reading stuff I might never have found otherwise. I even found poetry that I liked! :)

That's what I did with the rec list yesterday, just rubbed my hands together in glee at the new fic that I wouldn't have found otherwise. And when I wake up in the morning I'm totally going through it all again. sadly, now I need to pass out.

Being the odd soul that I am, I have recently read some Torchwood fanfic despite the fact that I've never seen a single episode! And I can see parallels between Remus/Sirius and Jack/Ianto.....Unfortunately, I can't write even a simple fic, I've tried!
