Oh.

Nnnnnngh. This is beautiful on so many levels!! The tenderness with which dream-Sirius looked at Remus, the hope I can just imagine in Remus's voice when he awakens, then as the image fades away and his expression after that...

Then, the hotness of Remus pulling Sirius down by his tie njklavnfmluvnslvk.

And I LOVE the last image, both boys running off to some place, with the gentle wind and curtains fluttering.

*LOVES*

Oh, The Curtain made me cry! The expression on Remus's face when he woke up and realized that Sirius wasn't there was just heartbreaking. :'( But New kiss was hot and A Bucket of Water too funny! :D

Absolutely gorgeous artwork. I think I have seem some of your other drawings as icons around LJ and wondered who did them. The style is unique and very memorable.

Oh, all of your work is gorgeous, but this was exceptional. The curtain!Siriusly, girl, no one, can draw fabric like you!!!

Oh, Remus' grief on page 7 and 8 was simply heartbreaking - as was the realization that Sirius was only a dream. But what a lovely dream he was!!! Yes, that first section was charmingly bittersweet.

But he second section was so lovely and hopeful. The kiss (and tie business) and the say Sirius pulled him away at the end was darling.

Beautiful!!

Oh wow, the first one especially was very sad, but also rather profound. You are the perfect person to draw these, though, because of your absolutely captivating way of drawing drapery things like fabrics (and hair...) Thank you!

AHHH, so gorgeous! The first one was so heartbreaking. The expressions were amazing, especially at the end-- horribly sad but perfectly understated. And I love the way you draw Remus-- I always think your Remus is exactly how Remus should look.

As for Remus pulling Sirius down by his tie... JAFS;LKSAKFJ;L!! I cannot even comment on this with anything resembling coherence. GUH, SUPER-HOT.

It should go without saying that your artwork is superb and unique but so is your way of seeing situations and imparting that in your art.
I'm especially glad that you worked backwards here. It felt so right. This sums up why I continue to find this pairing endlessly fascinating!

Oh, oh.

Oh, this is the best present I have EVER RECEIVED.

God, the first part is so heartwrenching and then the tone shifts so dramatically and the use of the prompt was masterful and really, I don't know what to tell you except that I LOVE IT. I love it, I love it, I love it.

Thank you SO MUCH.

These are absolutely beautiful, all of them!
The curtain was so emotional and I could almost feel the movement of the fabric! Stunning.
I also loved the tie/kiss series, particularly that last panel.

I so enjoy seeing your art, you captured Remus in all his sorrow, yearning and devastation of the realization Sirius is lost to him forever.
His face is pure beauty it makes me cry and wish magic could be more powerful in the none mogul world and return what belongs to Remus, his heart and soul.
Thank you for sharing.
Hugs
Torry

All three of these vignettes are so beautiful. I love how you've captured such completely different moods in each one. Lovely job!

Reme, these are wonderful. When I initially looked through the pages, I thought they were all dreams/memories, and to me that works just as well as seeing the second two when they happened :).

I love your older Remus and veiled Sirius - they both look so world-weary, but still very much themselves. Two and three work as a nice antidote to the angst of the first, and I agree with whoever said you draw amazing fabric. Sirius dissipating into the Veil and the curtain at the beginning of the second piece are gorgeous.

The last one was funny, the second one was HOT (isn't that why English boarding school boys wear ties, after all?) but the first one broke my damn heart. Beautiful. Just so very beautiful.

That image of the billowing veil is just haunting & seems somehow to echo through the other pictures in the way you've drawn the fabric. Poor Remus looks devastated, but he's so beautifully drawn. The new kiss is lovely, a nice antidote.

This is so wonderfully heartbreaking, especially The Curtain. The New Kiss is hot with all its tie-pulling glory. And A Bucket of Water is funny. But I really love how the curtain really makes you feel; it's not there simply because that was the prompt, it really belongs there.

Stop making me cry! That first one killed me dead! *wibble* But the last two cheered me up immensely, so thanks for ending them on a happy note. :-P Gorgeous work, Reme! As always! You're not just an artist, you're a visual storyteller. ♥

I agree with the other comments: the first piece just broke me up. I'm glad they were in reverse chronological order, though I admit each time I saw a curtain I got all...emotional. Oh boys, they don't understand yet! But it just made the very last image so much more...beautiful and mysterious and interesting and multifaceted. I love it. The expressions on their faces, the curtains following them, the pulling down by the tie, how I feel like I know them and their relationship and their feelings just from the looks on their faces...beautiful.

Oh, the first one broke my heart. I love your older Remus--he is beautiful.

The way you captured the different feel of the two times was wonderful. These were really lovely.

See, I told you you didn't have anything to worry about (at least I think that's what I said).

Ah, are you kidding me with how wonderfully charming it is to see Remus pulling Sirius by his tie into a kiss? My heart always thrums a little stronger when I look at/read your comics because you get these two *connected* so effortlessly. I can see their emotions. Such a great visual storyteller ... don't stop, lol.
