Date: 2019-12-01 08:27 am (UTC)As for what Remus dreamt of becoming, my reply in the poll is inadequate. My interpretation of my own story is that he dreamt of studying various things at one of the Magical colleges at Oxford University, and while studying also working in any jobs, because, above all, he wanted to be independent. He wanted to be an artist, too – a painter – but he didn’t think that this would guarantee he wouldn’t be financially dependent on others. Like a lot of children, in my experience, when at school he didn’t think of becoming a teacher, even though he enjoyed guiding others to learn. (He can’t remember but he’s been told that) As a young child, before he was bitten, he dreamt of becoming a leader, like King Arthur.
