Would you sort yourself in Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin? Definitely Ravenclaw.
Favorite book in the series? PoA easily. I loved Remus and Sirius immediately, and I loved that it was the only book where there wasn't really a bad guy. No Voldemort for the only time in the series. It lent a totally different feel to the book.
Favorite movie in the series? I... umm... haven't watched past PoA because I didn't like them?
Thumbs up or thumbs down on Gary Oldman’s Sirius or David Thewlis’s Remus? Since I've seen through PoA I will say that I liked parts and disliked parts. I'm okay with the way they were acted, but not a lot of other choices made, that had less to do with the actors and more to do with the directors.
Favorite character to write or draw or read (Remus, Sirius, or other)? Ooooh, both. Definitely Remus and Sirius, although I do have an easier time getting into Sirius' head, so I tend to lean that direction.
Favorite genre: angst, fluff, hijinks, AU, porn, humor, action/adventure, hurt/comfort, crossover, character study (what am I forgetting?) Happy endings! Beyond that I'm not terribly picky. I'm fond of AUs mostly, though, because it's hard to have a canon happy ending.
If you're a fan of AUs or crossovers, tell us more! I love ALL AUs. Muggle, magical, current time, historical. I've yet to really get into crossovers, although some of my other fandoms write HP universe AUs which make me VERY happy.

Favorite book in the series? I loved PoA and CoS more than the other books, I think. it's been a while since I read them.
Favorite movie in the series? I actually.... don't really remember any of the movies clearly. My dad and I went to watch HBP together in the theaters when it came out though, so for nostalgia's sake, I'm gonna say that one

For me it's more about the style of writing than the genre itself. Who else do you ship Sirius with? uh.... James.... sometimes? Shaggydogstail's Sirius/Lily has a dynamic I can get behind. Sirius/Marlene, but not as a long term thing, just a summer fling or whatever the kids are calling it these days....
Who else do you ship Remus with? Lily. James, in a certain context. Dorcas, maybe. I sent in a prompt for Remus/Andromeda to a fest recently partially as a joke but also because I want to see how that would go, because I am genuinely intrigued about them.

Favourite book in the series? PoA
Favourite movie in the series? Also PoA. Despite some ropey special effects, it was the one that best captured the sense of magic for me.
Thumbs up or thumbs down on Gary Oldman’s Sirius or David Thewlis’s Remus? I really liked them both! Neither of them looked at all like I imagined the characters, but they really acted like them. Gary Oldman did a great 'posh and a bit mental', especially the voice, and David Thewlis had a great twitchy quality that really suited Remus.
Favourite character to write or draw or read (Remus, Sirius, or other)? I really like mixing it up as regards POV in particular, but my faves to read and write are Sirius, Lily, Remus, and James plus McGonagall. I rarely read him, but the times I write Snape are generally pretty fun.
Favourite genre: angst, fluff, hijinks, AU, porn, humour, action/adventure, hurt/comfort, crossover, character study (what am I forgetting?) Bit of all of them? Hijinks and humour with sexy times and a happy ending (so AU *cough*) is my fave.
If you're a fan of AUs or crossovers, tell us more! Crossovers rarely work for me, but I like AUs, especially canon divergent AUs. Now I come to think of it, all the fics I've written since last year's small gifts have been AUs, including two modern Muggle AUs (which I always said I wouldn't even read, shows I can't be trusted).
Who else do you ship Sirius with? Lily, James, Lily and James together (my fave!), McGonagall, and Regulus.
Who else do you ship Remus with? No-one. I feel a bit guilty about the lack of balance, but I do ship Sirius with him the most.

Favorite book in the series? Def Prisoner of Azkaban.
Favorite movie in the series? Probably also POA, although I recently just rewatched HBP and thought that it did a really good job overall of capturing the angst and desperation and bleakness of that book.
Thumbs up or thumbs down on Gary Oldman’s Sirius or David Thewlis’s Remus? I think thumbs up overall, although neither of them looked like how I imagined their characters.
Favorite character to write or draw or read (Remus, Sirius, or other)? I really like writing from both Remus and Sirius's points of view, but for different reasons. I think they offer different challenges, and I tend to structure my plots around exploring things that are interesting and revealing for the two of them individually, and also together.
Favorite genre: angst, fluff, hijinks, AU, porn, humor, action/adventure, hurt/comfort, crossover, character study (what am I forgetting?) I am a fan of pretty much all genres. I'm ok with generous amounts of angsts, but I like to see them get some sort of happy ending. That being said, I have to be in a really specific mood for pure fluff; I like a little bit of conflict and watching the characters squirm a little.
If you're a fan of AUs or crossovers, tell us more! I haven't read a ton of crossovers tbh, but I'm a fan of all sorts of AUs. I'm particularly a sucker for stories that explore them meeting and developing a relationship as adults, in a world where Remus didn't attend Hogwarts because I think their school experiences together are really crucial, so it's interesting to think about how different they'd be if they didn't meet at 11.
Who else do you ship Sirius with? Sometimes James, either just the two of them, or with Remus and/or Lily as well.
Who else do you ship Remus with? Like I said I can be up for a Remus/Sirius/James/Lily situation, and I also am not totally opposed to Remus and Tonks, though I never really perceive of it as a long-term thing.

Favorite book in the series? OotP! PoA is an excellent book, and I admire it as literature, but the menacing Ministry and the horrific Umbridge and creepy Grimmauld Place won my heart.
Favorite movie in the series? PoA, which had some of the quirky humor as the books.
Thumbs up or thumbs down on Gary Oldman’s Sirius or David Thewlis’s Remus? Had I not read the books and had a strong idea of what the two characters were like, I think I would have enjoyed both. As things stand, they seem a bit fanficcy in comparison with the characters in my head. ("That's one interpretation, definitely, and nicely done, but not my cup of tea.")
Favorite character to write or draw or read (Remus, Sirius, or other)? I love writing from the PoV of a minor character watching the main characters wade through the drama.
Favorite genre: angst, fluff, hijinks, AU, porn, humor, action/adventure, hurt/comfort, crossover, character study (what am I forgetting?) I'm a big fan of slice-of-life sketches and missing scenes as a writer. As a reader, I'll take any of the above.
If you're a fan of AUs or crossovers, tell us more! I've never really gotten the hang of AUs. I wish I would, because I can see the appeal, but every time I try one I just wonder where Hogwarts and Grimmauld Place are. I really enjoy JKR's settings.
Who else do you ship Sirius with? Anyone male. Somehow that last scene in the books where he's got a pin-up in his childhood bedroom rubbed me the wrong way, and now I only read and write him as gay, gay, gay, Kinsey Six kind of gay.
Who else do you ship Remus with? Lots of folks! Sirius first and foremost, and anyone else is basically me writing AUs to the canon in my head, but I'm intrigued by the suggestion in HBP that he'd have a hard time being a good partner. That rings psychologically true to me--someone who's been forced to erase a part of themselves would have difficulties being there for a partner in the way they'd want. (Not a happy scenario, I know, but interesting.)

Thumbs up or thumbs down on Gary Oldman’s Sirius or David Thewlis’s Remus? Eh. Good actors, a little too old, and not quite who I saw in my head, but I can't really complain.

Favorite character to write or draw or read (Remus, Sirius, or other)? Remus. He's my little black dress. I will read him with just about anyone, whereas I really only like Sirius with Remus.

I never say no to porn. Humor is good if it's not too cutesy. I have a major soft spot for hurt/comfort as long as it feels in character. Angst with a happy ending is good too. :)

Favorite book in the series? Damn. Prob OOTP. I LOVE the scenes between Sirius and Snape at Grimmauld Place. Oh, and Snape tutoring Harry. So good! I used to really like HBP and DH, but I recently reread them, and their pacing is really bad.
Favorite movie in the series? None haha. I don't like the movies. I rewatched GOF and it was SO BAD.

Thewlis is all right, but he is such a weird person and he plays weird characters, and therefore Remus in the movies is weird when he really shouldn't be. I really love Gary Oldman, even tho his personal life is pretty problematic, but I think he was too old to play Sirius. Honestly, everyone who played a marauder was too old. Alan Rickman was def too old.

Who else do you ship Sirius with? I love me some Sirius/Snape, especially if it's an AU. I actually wrote a coffeeshop fic with them that I reread from time to time bc I like it so much. I also like Sirius/Lily, especially when there's angsty infidelity involved, or like one of them is trying to hurt James. Oh, and def Sirius/James. I love it when it's unrequited with Sirius madly in love with James and James too distracted by Lily.

I came here to say that The Fault of Walls is the best characterisation of Snape I've ever read! I tend to dislike him a lot in fandom because people make so many excuses for his behaviour and the way you portrayed him in that fic was everything I ever wanted from Snape as a character!! He's not a good person, but he is an amazing character (from a literary point of view) with a lot of potential, and the way you delivered it made me a fan of your work <3

A big yes to AU's. It's mainly because canon is so sad and heartbreaking for the Marauders. So I love magic and non-magic AU's where they went through some shit but lived happily ever after.

Humour probably- I especially love Marauder era, at school pranks and hijinks. I am also partial to angst, and perhaps controversially quite like an unhappy and/or open ending.

If you're a fan of AUs or crossovers, tell us more! I have read one REALLY good crossover, but most of the time I'm not familiar enough with the other fandom to really appreciate the art. I tend to prefer canon/ canon compliant stories but I have a soft spot for historical AUs.

Who else do you ship Sirius with? No one really- I'm really in the R/S fandom because of Remus and although I have grown fond of Sirius over time I have never explored his character outside the context of R/S.

Favorite movie in the series? The first one. The first movie I saw on a date in 2000 and thought it was SUCH A GOOD FILM. I still, to this day, remember turning to my date and saying (during the chess scene) "this is a really good movie, right?" and then a couple of years later, I picked up the books.

Favorite book in the series? PoA! Always! I fell in love with PoA from the first time I read it, and it's the one I have the fondest memories of.
Favorite movie in the series? This is going to sound very dramatic, but Deathly Hallows part 2 marked the end of my childhood somehow? hahah. I went to the first screening with my friends (in full-costume, that whole thing), as we had done with all the movies since GoF, and we got drunk and cried a lot. So I'm going to go with that (':

Favorite character to write or draw or read (Remus, Sirius, or other)? Remus, definitely! I used to RP as Remus (back in the old days when forum-based RP was a thing...) and he was definitely my favourite. I've also enjoyed writing from Teddy's perspective, when working with Next Gen characters.

Favorite movie in the series? not a huge fan of any of them, but probably PoA, and GoF, simply because I liked watching Remus and Sirius (shocking, I know)

Favorite genre: angst, fluff, hijinks, AU, porn, humor, action/adventure, hurt/comfort, crossover, character study (what am I forgetting?) definitely porn with feeling! well, ideally: imaginative plot, great characterisation, lashings of humour, and hot hot smut.

Who else do you ship Sirius with?I love m/m PWPs featuring Sirius and anyone except for Snape or Dumbledore or Hagrid, or a Dementor or any DE, all of those are a hard no. In terms of romance though R/S are very much my OTP
Who else do you ship Remus with? same as Sirius, but esp love a bit of Remus/Kingsley or even Remus/Sirius/Kingsley
