Yes, you read that right: 2016. We're still wrapping up last year as we get ready for Small Gifts 2017.

Your mods apologize. We were on the verge of finishing up last January when 2017 appeared in full force and, Dementor-like, sucked all the joy out of life. (I started off joking here, but honestly, 2017 has had some very Dementor-like qualities: political chaos, natural disasters, and tragedies large and small in the news almost every day. We hope you're safe out there. Someone teach us how to cast a Patronus charm!)

But we're back this year, now posting primarily on Dreamwidth, and stronger than ever. Last year's master list appears below. Forgive us for being late!

Your mods,
Maggie and Min

2016 by the numbers: we had 36 participants and 41 gifts ranging from 350 to 26,000 words in length. One quarter of these gifts were art or art-plus-fic. Most importantly, because one of the best things about Small Gifts has always been its sense of community, we left 847 comments for each other.

Arthur Weasley keeps telling him how this new wizarding app Witter is going to revolutionize the wizarding world. Surely it can help him reconnect with that handsome werewolf from MuggleCon, right?
