That was super adorable! And I love the layers of irony, too. Haven't we always felt like we might be characters in a book (or movie) at times? And, of course, they would, for they have more than one author to contend with.

That said, most of the time, they suffer less at our typing hands than they did at JKR's!

If this were true, I would feel really bad about all the hurt/comfort fics we put them through. Although as Brighty18 pointed out, we don't tend to abuse them quite as much as canon (at least when we kill them, we tend to bring them back).
