There's a reason cliches stick around, right? Sometimes, done right, cliches work, and familiar tropes help us get at something important about these characters.

Guess I missed that. I'll admit I've been out of the loop for a while. I'm just a bit surprised that raising Teddy is a cliche now cause like you said it's usually Harry.

Hmmm, well, it was 'tropes' as well--not just clichés, and hell, we're at least as old as you two, so what do we know? Just kidding, 'raising Teddy' while perhaps not as present as Harry, seems to be popular in AUs. Um, well, it would have to be AU, wouldn't it. Never mind. I'm going to bed.

And, yes, Remus as well endowed and sexually adventurous is always a cliché worth exploring.

I think that Raising Teddy has become a trope over the years. I've seen it handled well in AU.
