Today's question, Part A: If you had to pick a single Remus/Sirius fanwork that embodies your love for the pairing, what would it be? You don't need to come up with an all-time favorite--that's impossible--but find one that you'd recommend to a friend who never heard of the pairing before or one that was particularly meaningful to you at a crucial time. Without a doubt, it's the work of someone called rageprufrock and her "Levity" series, which I read on the ancient Astronomy Tower website but which you can now find here (http://archiveofourown.org/series/1784) at AoOO. There's just something so enduringly funny and sweet and overall realistic about these stories that they have literally made my heart ache. Go read and enjoy if you have not!

This is my favourite piece of fanart which as well as being a wonderful interpretation of the two boys, is absolutely amazing as a piece of art regardless of the subjects. The detail is fantastic and it never ceases to amaze me.

I was trying to decide if my answer has changed since last year, but it hasn't. There is so, so much good fanwork out there that I love, but one of my oldest and most enduring loves is Bring Me a Boat (http://rosie-writes.livejournal.com/1468.html) by rosie_writes. Just the tone, and the angst-but-things-end-well, and that basic premise that Remus never stops trusting Sirius despite the "evidence" against him (because I think a lot of us agree on that) - all these things make it one of my absolute favorites.
