Notes: I'm so glad I was able to make art for such a lovely story. I hope that it's alright, and that the wibbly faces in the GIF don't put you off too much. Happy Christmas!
Mimby remembers that when the boys was younger some years ago, they was both sad a lot when they was sleeping. And sometimes Mimby was coming to clean and was having to leave because the boy with the long hair was awake and crying and staring toward the door and bed of the boy with the scratches on his face. But now the boy with the long hair is always asleep. And the boys is both smiling while they is sleeping.
And finally...

Haha I hate attempting that room in colour- red and yellow just don't go down easily as restful colours, so it's good to hear that they came out alright!

Date: 2012-12-03 02:22 pm (UTC)I can almost picture you in a red sort-of-elf hat, deftly working your pencil-drawn and watercolour magic (the shading and line work in the first illustration, the amount of patience and care that must have taken!), and then a mischievous little quirk of a smile and we get digital Christmas Tree!Sirius and Elf!Remus XD. And how much do I adore the fact his bell actually says "jingle, jingle" ♥
I love how you've worked the space between their beds to communicate the tension - in the first drawing they're quite far apart and the lengthening perspective at right almost gives the impression that Remus is receding, drifting even further out of reach, like as Escher-esque dream. And then in the watercolour, when Sirius is awake, Remus is close at hand, but everything in the room is barricading him in, the curtains and the books on the floor, the almost claustrophobic thickening of the lines of the floorboards. Beautifully done!

And their long noses almost touching! Turning me into a pile of goo. And the gif! Kind of the best. Their 'why do you do these things to us.' faces! <3
