Clean-up/Reminder

Hi all!

In order to gear up for claiming, which begins at 11:00 a.m. Eastern US time on Saturday, October 29, we are going to go through the sign-up post and screen all comments that are not a wish. It's not that we don't love you, we just don't want people to mistakenly think a wish has been claimed when it hasn't been. Once claiming is complete, we'll go back and unscreen those comments.

Just didn't want to confuse anyone or take you by surprise.

Also, let this serve as a reminder to sign up, if you haven't already! We'd love to have you join in.

Hi guys! I'm just dropping by to say that I'm going away for the weekend until 2 November (or so), which means I might not be able to join the rush in prompt claiming. I'd defo claim a prompt as soon as I can, though!

Yup. Every year we have a couple people who end up being away. We prefer doing that than leaving one of the recipients hanging for a few days after the flurry. You can also have a friend claim on your behalf, if you prefer.

If you want us to do it, just drop a message with a few choices and we'll do our best to claim one for you.

I can't believe I nearly forgot to sign up this year. Time just slipped away from me.

Now for a stupid question... where is the beta reader volunteers post? Or hasn't it been posted yet? I'll need a new beta reader since I have no idea where my previous ones are these days or if they will have the time at all.

I do try to sign up here each year even if I don't have time for the other fests throughout the year these days. It is such a nice little community here.
