Ah, so beautifully written. One of the things I like most about the books is the fact that they operate in both realistic and fantasy universes, moving back and forth effortlessly between the two. Remus forgiving Sirius in an instant, for me, belongs in the fantasy universe of impossibly strong friendships; this is a more realistic glimpse into the ways he coped. Thanks for it--I really enjoyed it. M.
