The first R/S story I read was something on ff.net (probably late 2007) and it wasn't terribly good (in fact, I went back to it later, after devouring fics posted on lj, and realised how bad it was:[) but the idea of Remus and Sirius together like that just really fascinated me. Bad fic or not, it opened up the world of HP fandom and introduced me what forever will be my OTP.
