The Russian fandom is a scary, scary place. I never even tried to read something in Russian because I knew it'd be altogether badly written and have Snape in it. That fandom is all about Snape for some reason.

As to the original post question - it was shoebox_project for me. I didn't plan to fall in love with R/S, I thought I'd just read it and it'd be the end, but here I am, a year later, not only still not leaving but coming out of lurking. I don't even know why I love them so much - I just do.
