Kissing in the rain is one of my favourite tropes ever, so that ending made me yell out loud, for real. And I loved the music—big Madonna fan over here! I also really enjoyed your dialogue; it's witty and engaging and keeps this story flowing at such a good pace. Balances nicely with Remus' introspection too.
All the characterisation, and the sweet back-and-forth between Remus and Sirius that made it so clear where they were heading, was tone-perfect. And that double-ended motif of arriving late—such cool framing! In every way, this is such a great gift!! :')
