Wow, what a wonderful slice of seeing Remus's life outside of Hogwarts. I loved your interpretation of Hope, especially as we so rarely see or hear anything about her in fandom. She seems so well-fleshed out here, even though this wasn't a very long fic--being both interested in her son and yet kind of spaced out about the details of his life, being affected by her son's boyfriend's flirting with her (naughty Sirius!) and the implication (though we only have it on the Welsh Twat's say-so) that she's worried about her son leaving her for a higher social caste of friends/lovers, and wants him to come back home after graduation. It was also really great to see Hope in terms of understanding more about Remus and where he gets certain traits from.
And I loved the way Sirius chose to assert his claim on Remus. ; ) Even though Padfoot doesn't appear in this fic, he and Sirius seem to have a similar approach to staking out their turf--growl at the intruders, then mark what's yours!
