Oh my god, jealous Sirius is one of my favorite incarnations of Sirius ever and this was perfect. I mean, he even had a real reason to be jealous, at least a little bit, and Remus didn't seem to mind the results of it too much. Oh, but you did a lovely job with all the background characters (as much as Hope can be considered a background character) She was perfectly believable as a Muggle introduced to magic, but not really understanding it, and even more impressively, she was perfectly believable as a mother a little wary of the guy her son is dating, but still trying to like him for her son's sake. And Johnathan was sort of perfect in the trying to steal Remus for himself while still charming Hope, and Sirius had every right to want to shove it in his face a little bit. But the best part is how sweet they are together. You can see the love in every private interaction.
