Remus/Sirius Small Gifts

Oh my god, this is so bittersweet, and lovely, and hopeful. What a wonderful thing to read today. I adore how Remus is so cautious and angry and completely mentally unprepared for Sirius to show back up again. And yet, Sirius is just as cautious, not willing to ask for more than he's being given, to in fact, give when it isn't even being asked for. Simply to try and see if they can make it work in any capacity. This entire thing was simply wonderful, a little painful in a good way, and just beautiful.
