My pseud was a toss up between ruinsplume and puremuslin, but the latter just seemed wrong for the kind of writing I do. :D I think of my pseud as meaning something like, “ruins the plume of the pen in an overly enthusiastic flourish.” But I adore what you said, “a plumage of ruins”—that’s a great description for Sirius, actually!
