Six more days until the deadline! Two more days until we begin to post gifts here!

Just to remind you (and clarify some issues we've gotten questions about):

Taking part:

* Everyone who requests fic or art has pledged to contribute fic or art in return. Please remember that there is someone out there who's waiting for a gift for you. If for some reason you are running late or can't finish your gift at all, please let the mods know as soon as possible.

* The exchange will run from Saturday, December 16, to Monday, January 1, with your mods posting several gifts (selected randomly) every day.

* Want to give another small gift? Once you've put your first gift in the queue, you're free to return to the original list of requests and select another. We'll accept second (or third!) submissions through January 1. The more the merrier!

Submitting your gift:

* Fics are due on Wednesday, December 20. To submit, simply post your gift to the community. Very easy! It will remain invisible and "in the queue" until the mods make it public.

* All fics must be spellchecked and beta'd. The moderators reserve the right to return your fic (or leave a lump of coal in your stocking) if it has not been spellchecked or beta'd.

* All fics and art must have the community header. This is a NEW REQUEST from your mods, but please help us out and include it. It will make the gifts easier to identify.

Cross-posting:

* Cross-posting is permitted but only after your gift has been posted on rs_small_gifts. Submit your original fic or art to this community for posting--no links, please--and watch the community to see when it appears. At that point you can post it to your own journal or to other communities. Please don't ruin the surprise for your recipient by jumping the gun!

Reading:

* This community contains material rated R or NC-17. Everyone may join the community and participate in the exchange, but please do not read or view the R or NC-17 material if you are not of age.

Finally, for all those of you who work at the eleventh hour, like me, and are still writing or drawing? Have fun! Remember, these are small gifts--and if you're in a creative mood, you can always come back and write or draw a second!

I ended up doing...two fics. Neither of which, I think, are really what jamesly was hoping for. Still, I'm sort of thinking the fact that there are two will make up for that...? Possibly?

If this isn't allowed, I can always just pick one. I mean, I might end up doing that at the last minute anyway. I'm a very indecisive person.

But if two is allowed - should I post them separately or together?
