We're now under the 24-hour mark! You can sign up for small gifts until 10:59 a.m. Eastern US time tomorrow/Sunday, October 25. At 11:00 a.m. Eastern US time, sign-ups close, and prompt-claiming begins!

We're delighted to have no fewer than NINE new participants this year (welcome, welcome!), so a few quick words about claiming.

* Small gifts is a self-service exchange: participants leave their prompts and then return to claim ONE recipient during the prompt-claiming window. First come, first served. Look ahead of time, select your top choices, and be ready to leave a comment claiming the prompt of your choice.

* We'll be around tomorrow to answer any questions; just leave a comment here or send us an e-mail.

* Usually folks match up within a few hours of the appointed prompt-claiming hour. Are you working/traveling/asleep/otherwise unable to be at the computer? Your mods are happy to claim on your behalf. Just send us an e-mail with a list of your top three choices, and we'll do the claiming.
