Deadline reminder

It's Sunday for most of us, and our November 30 deadline is approaching quickly!

Submitting. You'll submit your gift by posting directly to the comm. (We're a moderated comm, so it will remain hidden until we reveal it.) Posting instructions (and header) are here!

Tinkering. Remember, you can't edit or change your gift while it's in the queue, so if you need to make last minute adjustments, e-mail your mods and ask us to reject the post so you can fix and resubmit.

Extensions. If you can't finish your gift by midnight your time, November 30, please e-mail us at smallgiftsmods at gmail dot com as soon as possible! The key to keeping the exchange running smoothly is communication.

Pinch hitters. We may need a few pinch hitters. If you didn't sign up and would like to volunteer, or if you've finished your first gift and would like to work on a second, please let us know!

Countdown to small gifts 5/7: Ask JKR

If you could ask JK Rowling to reveal a single additional detail about Remus or Sirius, or to add a single event, character, or scene to canon that she didn't already include, what would it be? Remember, you can't change what's already happened in the books (bring Sirius back, edit out Remus' marriage, etc.), you can just find out a bit more about some aspect these two characters and their stories, as written. What would you like to know about them? Who (or what event) might shed some more light on their story? (Be gentle with *all* of our HP characters here, please, folks--Tonks, Peter, and company thank you!)
