Your comment is just the best, oh my gosh. I am DELIGHTED that you liked this, lengthy though it got; it was fun to write the change in their relationship and all the things that changed with them and all the things that stayed the same, and they just slip into cozy domesticity so well.
And I'm thrilled if this has resonated for anyone at all, wow! I can only speak to my own experiences, but figuring yourself out can be hard; people are the most difficult puzzle pieces there are, especially when you grow and change and things get clearer or get muddier with time, or you've got that one piece that never wants to click. I like to think Sirius takes some time to come to terms with what this means for him, and is probably a bit more prone to self-reflection--if only because Remus makes him do it. :-)
