So I'm really sorry for being a terrible, horrible, wretched person and not commenting on this six months ago as I should have done. I'm not sure how I managed to neglect this lovely fic, but I hope you can forgive me!
I absolutely loved this. I was smiling the whole way through Remus going into "Professor Lupin" mode and teaching Sirius who, bless him, still can't manage to pay attention. I also really loved the way you dealt with the Remus/Lily. It felt very believable – the conflict came from Lily simply wanting an explanation, and Remus obviously being reluctant to give her a truthful one; and the resolution felt just as natural. And I especially loved how James and Peter dealt with the news that Sirius and Remus were together. They were shocked at first, but then went back to the same quirky normality that defined their friendship. Great stuff. That last line, Maybe they can't stop themselves from growing up, but that doesn't mean they ever have to stop acting like children when it matters most. is a great message, and pretty much captures the epitome of the Marauders, to me.
Thanks so much for this wonderful story, and I'm sorry, again, that I'm so very late to the party.
