Now that's *really* a wrap
Jan. 10th, 2012 10:17 pmAnother year of Remus/Sirius goodness comes to a close! We had another wonderful batch of gifts this year: 63 gifts (51 fic and 12 art and art-and-fic) plus 19 drabbles written in the days leading up to the exchange.
Thank you to our participants: artists, writers, watchers, cheerleaders, betas, and pinch-hitters. We saw fireworks, Scooby Doo, mistletoe, potions accidents, St Paul's Cathedral, and not one but two AUs in which Remus and Sirius raise Draco.
brighty commented like no one has ever commented before. Old timers returned. New folks were welcomed to the community (and impressed us with their gifts!). It's been fun to celebrate the end of the year with you! Our 2011 master list is below the cut (and please let us know if there are any mistakes or oversights).
A special thank you goes out to my fellow mods
sambethe and
mindabbles, who stepped in while I was on vacation in December. Min and Sambethe have always been the real brains and organization behind this fest--you should see their spreadsheets!--but this year especially they deserve a round of applause. Want to leave a prompt for a fic from me, you two? We can keep the celebrations coming into the new year.
Happy 2012, all!

A ficlet from Maggie? Really? At the Age of Eleven is still in my head. ♥
Okay, here are some random thoughts: a long letter, new glasses, this is a day I'll remember for a long time. Don't have to use them all of course. Don't have to do it at all, but I'd be thrilled. :)
And, not sure I'm any brains around here. I'm a worker bee. Sam makes the spreadsheets. *hugs*
(ETA: er, I guess those should have been two different comments. Sorry...)
