I'd be very interested in hearing why people choose some of these answers...
I tend to see Sirius as the first one to confess his feelings (and to apologize, etc.) because I always imagine him as being fairly impulsive and needing to be accepted and loved. He's a bit that way in canon and I could see him doing that in relationships.
The socks thing, I just love a kind of sloppy Remus. It's just slightly out-of-character enough to be real and make him more endearing.
As to the actors, I adore them both. But I remember being ultra-excited about Gary Oldman being cast as Sirius because he is kinda sexy has that compelling-bad-boy thing about him. He plays morally ambiguous characters very well and that made him a perfect Sirius in my mind.

Dear Mods, You are made of win! Great idea:) About the actors a had little problem because I really like them both. But I have to admit when I found out who was going to play my favorite character (Remus) I was furious! Really! I liked David Thewlis since I watched Dragonheart for the first time (it's still the only movie in the world that makes me cry every time I watch it), but there was no way he would ever fit my "perfect Remus image". On the other hand I was thrilled when Gary Oldman was chosen to play Sirius. Things have changed after I saw third movie. After watching David in PoA, I fell in love with his acting. I wouldn't change him for anyone. Maybe he didn't look perfect but his acting was incredible. His Remus is warm, kind, little weird, lonely but able to cherish every happy moment in his life. I love watching PoA in HD when I sit really close to the TV screen and admire Thewlis's facial expressions. Perfect. Gary also didn't disappoint me, he was good and tattoos were nice addition (i loved his teeth(; ) The only two things I can't stand in PoA movie were Remus's werewolf form and Padfoot. Seriously?! What was that? I don't like it very very very much. Ok...I need to calm down ...breath in...breath out...breath in...breath out...I'm calm now. Ok it's late, I think I just go to sleep;)
Except for the likely person to leave dirty socks on the floor, I chose Sirius for each question. XD I'm so predictable it's not even funny. The last question, on the other hand, is very very hard. I'm quite partial to the mythical shared flat, though!
Oooh, yes we did! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks Remus is the messy one. Walburga would never have countenanced mess, and I think Sirius never got out of the habit. XD
heehe funny, i picked sirius for that because he had a house elf so he wouldn't have learned to keep tidy after himself :P (iunno if it's canon or just my headcanon but i think house elves only get set free when they're given a piece of clothing directly from the hands of their owner and not when they just pick it up to do laundry...)
Hm... for some reason, I always thought house elves picked clothes up for their masters to do the laundry too (don't tell me Lucius does the laundry!). Haha. But I always thought Sirius is a bit OC about cleanliness. He was all, 'There's enough filth in my robes' to Peter, and there was his little joke about how the house was getting filthy to Kreacher in OotP. :P
Aww, come on! Who doesn't want to read about Sirius and Remus fighting over what flavour jam and bickering over who gets to wash the dishes? Sooo romantic! <3

YES OH GOD YES. I still think Sirius gave Remus hell for getting crumbs in the jam jar. Franticbabbles's fics is probably all I ever wanted in R/S. Never really bought into the whole SBP thing. It's fun and all that, but they weren't my Sirius and Remus.
Agreed wholeheartedly, though SBP was what got me into the fandom and it will always have a special place in my heart for that reason :') But finals are coming up, which means REREADING FRANTICBABBLES FOR COMFORT WHILE CRYING INTO ICE CREAM WOO

Oooh, this was a creative and fun poll! Im in a little disbelief over majority of the R/S shippers saying that Sirius would be likely to apologise first after a fight ( maybe he would to Remus? Because he is special to Sirius? I really dont know) and I will forever rage over the choice of David Thewlis as Remus Lupin in the films( AND Gary Oldman as Sirius, but not as madly as I will rant over the former..I guess Im really choosy ':|) I mean, did he even have grey eyes in the movie?! When I think of Sirius's face as described by canon, grey( really pale grey) wicked eyes always jump out at me, Gary Oldman and grey eyes are just...naah.
Its interesting to see that an equal number of people...right at this time,atleast...think that both Remus and Sirius are more sexually adventurous. No doubts, for me it's Sirius! ;)

Haha, I must admit, I was pretty upset when I saw the actors for Sirius and Remus. I think the worst thing about Gary Oldman is the fact that he's quite shorter than David Thewlis? I mean, come on! He was described as TALL in the books.
And I think Sirius is the one who's sexually adventurous, too. Doesn't matter who's topping. It's probably Sirius's idea, in my book. :P
I think Sirius would be the first to apologize only cause Remus is the type of person who could hold on forever. He'd very calmly make it all Sirius fault anyway, whether it really was or wasn't, and Sirius would flair about it but after a few days, he just wouldn't be able to go by each day without having Remus there with him. It's be a torture for Remus as well, but he's used to this kind of life (*sniff*), so he could hold on for longer.
And, in general, Sirius is so ladish, I bet it would even take him a few fights just to realize you're suppose to not talk to each other until someone apologizes. He would just wanna do that guy thing where they fight, they go away, next day they act like nothing happened.
It's my favorite fest of the year, missing it would be the worst :( I felt so terrible when I had to drop out of shaggydog_swap and I don't want to do that again, BUT winter break is fast approaching and I'd totally have time to write!
Yeah. I've been feeling shitty about the fandom lately, but this fest never fails to get me out of the dumps. So looking forward to what everyone's going to come up with! <3

Awww, I always look forward to this fest! (Maybe as early as the tropically scorching days of August, haha. Nothing like the thought of Christmassy wintery fics to cheer oneself up when one's sweating profusely at work.)
I'm surprised that (at least for now) Remus is chosen as the better gift-giver. That was one of the easiest questions for me. Sirius is so caring about those he loves, I'm sure he won't rest until he finds the most perfect gift for Remus each and every christmas/birthday/anniversary.... I also can see him just giving Remus little gifts that would melt his heart without any reason what so ever, just cause he was walking in the street and he saw something and just HAD to get it cause it would be perfect for Remus and he would love it.

Which means he must save money for it (sometimes for long time). His gifts are carefully chosen or even made by himself. And I think that kind of gift is much more valuable for the recipient. I see it that way :)
