Countdown to small gifts 1/7: Introductions!
Welcome, folks! Every year at small gifts, we start off the holiday season with a week's worth of discussion posts. I'm the same- I always come back to Harry Potter no matter where I stray! I definitely agree about the primacy of friendships- it's one of my favourite things to explore in fic!

I think there’s something about the source material that’s so rich, it allows for many different possibilities. I’m sure that just my bias, but I have thought about other books or films I love and have never seen the same potention. Or, maybe I’m lazy. :)
