Particularly seeking beta who knows things about Chinese culture in the 1930s-70s ish! Knowledge of culture specific to British black people during the same time period would also be a plus!

I will need a beta once I have a draft complete (probably mid-November) - I particularly need someone to evaluate narrative flow, consistency, and overall construction. Brit picking is always nice, but not essential.

I am also available as beta in trade or if anyone else needs a beta. I am a native English speaker with experience as an ESL teacher and high school teacher, so I can help with grammar, construction, content, and editing, and I am happy to discuss intangible story elements as well. And while I probably watch more British television than is healthy, I am actually an American and unable to comment on British-particular elements of language.

I am going to need a beta reader and I am afraid it is likely to be a last minute one. I am off work on the week running up to the deadline and it is likely to be written that week. Sorry!

I will eventually need a beta. I'm probably about half done give or take, but writing time is completely up in the air. Hopefully it won't be too last minute.
