Sirius. Oh, that boy needed smacked 'upside the head' for that. A PRANK? Betraying a friend's deepest secret that could have ultimately led to that friend's expulsion--and possibly his death? If Snape had died, I can't think that even Dumbledore could have saved Remus--and Remus would never have forgiven himself. It was completely thoughtless and cruel. Sirius is lucky that Remus ever talked to him again!

You know, this poll is a lot easier if you strongly favor one of these guys over the other.

Also, the reason I love GoF is because we see Sirius at his most animated. I think he was as close as he could get to his pre-Azkaban personality as possible. I kinda love that.

I tend to think that Remus' marriage would have been horrid without Sirius' death. I honestly don't know if I could have handled that. Not that I wanted Sirius to die, but I think he might have preferred it to watching the love of his life marry another.

PoA was my favorite book even before I caught on to R/S. I think that it has to do with the fact that Voldie wasn't in it and that Sirius, the supposed "evil" one turned out to be good. (I love the movie Spirited Away for the same reason.) I also loved it because (and this is not meant in a bragging sort-of way) I used to be a teacher and found in Remus a kindred spirit. No one else at Hogwarts really taught like that and I love him for it.
