Oh, this is gorgeous. Every moment is beautifully described. There are so many really lovely lines. Lily's about Sirius not knowing how to do it was perfect. Remus' grief and slow, dull resolution of it rang very true. And the end made me tear up. The simple way you show us what happened was beautifully done. Thank you for sharing this!
