You are brilliant and this fic was a perfectly brilliant example of precisely why you are brilliant. It was hot, it was sweet, and it was funny as hell. Only you (and only a mom) could shift so easily from incredibly hot sex to some very amusing parent-child (or step-parent-child) interaction.

I love how easily Sirius can be swayed with sex naturually Sirius took to being a parent. ("Moony," Sirius whispered, his arms clenching Remus to him. "Please don't leave. If I break him, I can't fix him. It's not something I can replace. I—I—I don't know what to do. You're all one another have.") He really was sweet. Reading (what I assume is) Thomas the Tank Engine? Getting all mad at Fred and George? Letting the kid eat ice cream and reminding him not say "cock" whilst other people are around? That is so perfectly Sirius. And you have to love him for it.

Honestly, I think he would be a good dad: fun and defensive and very, very willing to be cuddly. In fact, I think it was that clinging hug that broke him. He would be everything that his parents were not, too.

Your write Teddy very well. You can totally tell that you're a mom and I imagine that James does a few of these little tricks (the candy?), too.

Oh, and the ending was hilarious. Of course he'd remember.
