I really like the small conversations about small things like stale jokes and morning grumpiness -- just right for friends who have known each other that well for that long. I love your Winter of Discontent universe and it's great fun to come visit it again -- the strikes, and the snow, and oh, of course, Sirius being as nobly stupid as they can.
