This is so very haunting and bittersweet, and such a good way of looking at that tiny little bit of canon that makes everything hinge upon it. The fragility of trust and friendship and even family in the Potter-verse really comes through here, and I love this idea of Sirius. Who after all has more reason than most to try and create a family.
