The closeness to Remus' experience is what makes it, what draws you in. Didn't disturb me at all. Neither did the lack of obvious shippy interaction. The act of Remus ensconcing himself at Sirius' place, nurturing him by sharing the bath, feeling so deeply that Sirius needed him, needed his body were all quite 'shippy,' romantic even. I tend to be a bit more soppy in my R/S fics, because I am a sucker for sweet romance and the world can be a cold place and it cheers me up, but that doesn't mean the more subtle intimacy isn't as satisfying a read!
