What a lovely, lyrical story. Your descriptions are so very rich. I can see the people, the places, and I can smell the jam. All of the details — the trees, the conjured furniture, the mittens, the drawing — make this so vivid. I love the hesitancy and the connection between Remus and Sirius. I love that they can be themselves around their best friends, but Sirius is still a bit modest. The scene in the kitchen was beautifully sensuous and sweet. And this is my new favorite version of the Twelve Days of Christmas — it made me smile and smile. Thank you for the lovely, warm, and cozy story!!!
