Now I’ve finally been able to sit down and read this, and it was so worth the wait! This fic warms my heart, and I love it. The entire atmosphere and the way you describe things make it all come to life as I read. I adore the idea of Sirius and Remus leaving Grimmauld Place together for a while (that definitely happened in canon:)) and I love to picture where they went, it’s so vivid in this fic. And during the story, there are so many details that I love. How Remus became giddy from planning the escape, how it reminded him of maraudering back in the day, oh my heart. How Sirius was shouting and throwing things to set up the mood and making it clear he was holed up without anyone checking on him. Fred and George helping! James having disregarded the tie, haha. So many lovely things. I also loved Remus’ and Sirius’ dialogue, especially during their getaway, how well it flows and how much it says about their relationship. You did that so well! The bittersweetness of them planning for life after the war, oh my heart. And then the snow, aaah! Thank you so much for writing this, I love it, so much!! Happy holidays! <3
