This was so sweet! I love it when these two fall into something without quite realizing it and you drew all that out so tenderly. So many bits of Remus's introspection here that were brilliant--I especially loved him wondering how much time he'd spent waiting on Sirius and all the little ways he's so happy with him without fully understanding why. And that ending!!! You circled back to the timing of it all so beautifully. Thank you for writing this, it's left me feeling like I've just swallowed a whole mug of hot cocoa--this is so warm all the way down <3<3<3
