Sometimes I forget how well angst and anything bittersweet fits them, and how much I actually like it (when it has an at least slightly hopeful ending, like here) - because yes, after two wars and everything else, things will be difficult and different and probably a bit broken, no matter how much they still care for each other.

"Sirius does not want to be looked at anymore, and it turns out that Remus just wants to be held." kind of ruined me (in the best way).

Thanks for making me fall in love with this kind of story all over again.
