gosh, i don't even know where to begin in replying to this comment. first of all—no need to apologise, i've had a hectic week, and this popped into my inbox at just the right time to brighten up a busy sunday :')
the strange thing about writing teen r/s is that i started writing them as a teenager, and as such all my output was in this domain. coming back to the ship after many years, i'm now much more drawn to writing them as adults, but there's a certain joy in revisiting them in a more youthful paradigm. i recently reread the "snape's worst memory" chapter—there's something almost terrifyingly real about the young marauders. i'm glad i was able to capture even a bit of that.
anyway, the level of serendipity in how this all came together is absolutely off the charts. i'm thrilled that my fic was able to inspire your prompt, and even more pleased that i ended up claiming it and this happened. like, i had no idea that you enjoy the mistaken identity trope, but that's obviously perfect. it's a favourite of mine too. this is the coincidence of the century, as far as i'm concerned!
