Nope, nope, nope, I'm sorry. I cannot deal with this level of adorable today. Every last bit of this was amazing. From Sirius retaining bits of his Padfoot traits to Remus charming the pool deeper. And pretending to be Mandrakes! What a perfect little kid imagination game for a wizarding child! I mean, simply perfect. And, I mean, your Teddy totally stole the show here. (And you managed to sneak TTR in there!)

I particularly loved this bit:
remembering last weekend and the furious look on Mrs Murphy’s face slowly turning to only slightly miffed when she opened her front door to find Teddy holding a lemon drizzle cake aloft, Remus standing behind him trying his best to look apologetic and Padfoot sat next to him, tail thumping on the ground.

“Hi Mrs Murphy, my Daidí says that I’ve to tell you that I’m very sorry for being so loud and Padfoot’s sorry too, and we’ll try not to do it again, but we found a gnome you see-”
What a perfectly normal little kid thing, just colored by them being wizards. Not to mention, I can perfectly picture Padfoot chasing gnomes around the yard while Teddy cheers him on.

And the ending. What a sweet, gentle moment, that tipping nod to canon and Sirius going through the veil, but coming back and everything being okay again.

What a wonderful, fluffy, perfect snippet of their lives. Perfect job!
