Twelve years ago Busaikko and I came up with this system at the eleventh hour because every other pairing in HP fandom except R/S seemed to have its own year-end exchange, and we wanted to put together something quickly, without too much hassle for anyone, including ourselves. Mostly it works--but there can be some hitches along the way. Super glad to see so many folks here and excited, though! Even after all these years. M.
