The only downside to the length of this piece is that I had to wait for the weekend to have time to read it.

This was happy and wonderful and the characterization was spot-on, from Sirius and his mental closet encyclopedia to Remus and his stacks of books and bad erotic French poetry to Marlene and her solid steel ovaries. I just want to run away with all of them a form a gay commune in Shropshire (because apparently that place needs livening up).

And if it's all right with everyone, I'm going to believe this takes place in an AU where all the horrors of canon don't ever happen and Remus and Sirius do work their way up from goldfish to children and end up old and arthritic together without any interruptions whatsoever.
