The veil yawned open behind Sirius just as Remus' palm connected with his, pausing his tumble into oblivion. Over Sirius' shoulder he could see James and Lily and he very nearly let Sirius go to a place where he could be happy, but Lily smiled as she and James came up behind Sirius and pushed. As his lover fell safely into his arms Remus smiled back because they were all in agreement - it wasn't time yet.
