This was a really interesting twist on your original story! I found Petra's actions to be particularly jarring - when reading it as Peter, it's more casual neglect of Remus, but Petra seems more malicious and purposeful in her comments/actions. But perhaps it's because women are expected to be more emotionally supportive and all, so someone choosing to eat over helping their friend seems extra judgmental. Thanks for sharing this!
