Oh, wow! That was stunningly lovely and felt very, very real. It was one of those stories that one almost does not care at all about the fandom aspects, but simply loves the characters for who and what they are. Yes, arguably swapping genders aided in this, but, based on the original, I strongly suspect that that would have been true regardless of gender. These are simply realistic, well-fleshed out, characters.
That said, the woman's perspective was fascinating and (at least in my opinion) incredibly apt. Mr. Travers was a truly horrible person on all levels and I don't blame Rhea in the least. In fact, I quite applaud her. It's interesting, too, because Andrew and I have been binge-watching Mad Men and the amount of sexual harassment and rampant sexism is unbelievable - except that it IS believable because it did happen. Rhea brushed her hand over eyes and stood a bit straighter, determined to ignore Sir Tosser, and tried a different tact. "I could come in on Saturday to do the inventory."
"You could put on a little make-up and wear something a bit smarter. I bet you have quite a figure beneath your nun's habit."
On the other hand, sometimes hexing was too good for some people. Poor Rhea - but then again, poor anyone who had to suffer through shit like this - and many people did. You did a great job at portraying the "otherness" not only of being a werewolf but of being a woman as well.

And it was so well-written, too.
Yay, you!
