First of all, I am so sorry for it taking me so long to get to this! I have been immersed in the world of medicine in 1620, and descriptions of trepanation, and this would have been much better reading!

And, oh, my! So much work must have gone into this, and it was fantastic. Thank you so much! I love how the opening section feels, in itself, like a scene from a play, all thunder and blustering. It felt like it could have come from something like Revenger's Tragedy.

And, oh, but these two sentences made me clutch my heart, and eeep slightly: Sirius gazed at Remus, looking befuddled but fond, tortured but comforted, with eyes wide yet hard, looking impossibly young. He bit his lip and buried his face in Remus’ neck.

Lily as a quick-witted whorehouse keeper! Brilliant! And I love how James is still James, desperately trying to flatten his hair and impress with words. I also really liked your Peter, here: “Take care,” Peter muttered quietly, “unfriendly eyes may rest upon you.” His eyes seemed to dart around the room, seeking possible adversaries.

Act III with its intermingling of the textual world of early modern drama, and the quickfire banter of Remus and Sirius made me very happy, but I think my favourite is the last Act, with Remus and his discarded Catholicism, and Yorkshire roots. (I am from the city where Guy Fawkes was born, and Catholic, so this was made for me!) And Sirius worrying about whether he made the right decision to become an actor.

I am in awe at this, thank you so much! *twirls you*
