Remus' misery and heartbreak really permeated through this piece (in a good way). There was a heaviness when reading it, even in those humorous parts, that captured the overall tone of that last stretch of the First War. I loved the awkwardness between the pups, how Remus can't quite stop feeling attracted towards Sirius despite all that's come between them. Lily and James were also really well written here, especially their interactions with Remus and Sirius. Really spectacular piece, sea_shtick!
